We are currently looking for a Program Manager I - Mobility Safety to join us in our mission to save lives and prevent injuries.
Position Highlights:
The Program Manager for this position leads the execution of the child passenger safety (CPS) diversion demonstration project in Orange County, Florida. This is currently a grant-funded position through September 30, 2025. While NSC will apply for continuation funding for this position to enable continuation beyond September 2025, continuation is not guaranteed at this time.

What You’ll Do:
- Project Management: ·
- Define the main objectives of the projects, their purpose, and the scope.
- Create integrated and ongoing project plans to include key deliverables and milestones and the tasks required to complete each.
- Execute the work or assign work as part of the plan.
- Monitor and control the processes/tasks associated with the project.
- Outreach:
- Provide knowledge, education, awareness of products/services to any population that might not otherwise have access to or know of NSC and CPS programs.
- Create outreach documents for print or online publications as appropriate for the grants scope of work.
- Knows public policy, issues, legislature and regulatory influences, as well as scientific research, and reports the most effective strategies to address the focus issues.
- Present as a public speaker and training instructor.
- Relationship Management:
- Engage in regular communication with, and build relationships in all directions (e.g., peers, supervisors, funders, stakeholders) to advance the strategy/program.
- Support and encourage an environment that appreciates the diversity of employees and
- stakeholders styles, opinions and perspectives.
- Relay information, build consensus, fact-find, and maintain transparency and open
- exchange, while keeping partners up to date and notified of program status and impact.
- Communicate with other NSC initiatives, campaigns, and departments to identify potential dissemination and cross-collaboration opportunities
- Travel as needed within the scope of this grant program.
- Current U.S. Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) Certification
- Able to work on a full-time basis in Orange County, Florida.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient at project management and organization skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- The salary for this role is $75,000
