We are currently looking for a Jr. Business Systems Analyst to join us in our mission to save lives and prevent injuries.
Position Highlights:
Under general supervision, the Jr. Business Systems Analyst supports the Manager, Business Systems, concentrating on system software and support. The primary focus of this role is to provide administrative, project, and analytical support to the management team to ensure the Data Management Center (DMC) goals, objectives, and strategies are met. Additionally, the Jr. Business Systems Analyst ensures that various National Safety Council (NSC) systems function to meet contractual, regulatory, and process needs, and assesses and tests data integrations, new system changes, technology upgrades, and more for their impact on the business.
What You’ll Do:- Ensure various NSC systems function to meet contractual, regulatory, and process needs.
- Assess and test data integrations, new system changes, technology upgrades, and more for their impact on the business.
- Document functional requirements, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide IT direction for system fixes and updates.
- Create comprehensive user acceptance testing plans (UAT) and support the Manager, Business Systems with UAT.
- Develop custom reports using multiple NSC systems.
- Coordinate data integrations, communications, and compliance with state/court reporting systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of online registrations and training sites.
- Assist with staff training and the development of SOPs as needed.
- Contribute to the development of new state programs.
- Administrative, project, and analytical support to the management team.
- Provide Outlook Technical Support to NSC part-time instructors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate project status, progress, and issues to all project members and stakeholders.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups.
- Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is preferred.
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work
- This is a hybrid position.
- Salary range: $72,500 to $76,000
